Having been disillusioned over curtains for a number of years and the constant battle of trying to co-ordinate carpets, curtains, wall coverings etc., and of course, the maintenance - washing, ironing and hygiene, we decided to do something about it...

Although wooden shutters have been around for hundreds of years in different forms, we believe we have taken them to the next level – with unrivalled quality and choice. When closed, the thermal value of shutters can improve the performance of a double glazed unit by 50%, bearing in mind the greatest heat loss in any property can be during the hours of darkness when temperatures plummet. A solid type window shutter forms a barrier between the window frame and room, thus trapping the cold inbetween. When closed, as well as providing excellent thermal value, shutters also provide added noise reduction.

All Shutters can be manufactured in a traditional or contemporary style and are purpose made to customers requirements and handcrafted and fully finished on our premises at Peak Forest. They can be manufactured in timbers such as Oak, Cherry, Maple, Pine, Walnut etc., and in any paint colour or finish. Shutters can be fitted in a small frame to the front of the window reveal or directly to the window frame itself. When folded back you have uninterrupted light. SAMPLES AT OUR SHOWROOM AT PEAK FOREST.
